“Hearing the stories and seeing the joy from my clients after years of planning is why I love what I do.”
Kip Reiss became a financial planner because he enjoyed the investment process and building investment portfolios. Since starting in the industry in 1996, he’s found that the most rewarding part of his work is the relationships he develops with clients. As a Wealth Advisor, Kip believes that if he helps educate his clients to better understand their portfolios, they can have a clearer picture of pursing their goals and dreams. He also strives to create and provide strategies for each individual or family milestone. Whether their goal is to retire comfortably, send a child or grandchild to college, or leave a legacy to future generations, Kip helps clients plot a course to pursue those important ambitions so they feel confident they’re on the right path.
His professional education includes a B.S. degree from Eastern Illinois University with a major in Finance and a minor in Economics. He has also achieved the professional designation of Certified Retirement Planning Counselor – CRPC© from the College of Financial Planning, in addition to being a graduate of the Cannon Financial Institute School of Comprehensive Wealth Management. He successfully obtained the FINRA series 7, 24, 51,63 & 65 securities registrations (held with LPL Financial) and the Illinois life, health and long-term care insurance licenses.
Kip lives in Rochester, IL with his wife Kristen and their three sons. He is involved with their sons’ sporting activities by coaching their baseball and basketball teams. Kip also enjoys taking family vacations, playing golf, hunting, fishing, hiking, and cheering his boys on playing sports. Kip has been involved in the communities where he lives and works by serving on several community boards.
